Interkids Bilingual School (IBS3) provides students the
opportunities to learn, be successful, and grow with proper
encouragement and instruction in a safe, orderly environment
under the guidance of a caring, professional well-educated
faculty and administration which will lead to the procurement
of necessary skills to become productive citizens and society
members.
IBS provides several facilities and few of them are as follows:
Classrooms
IBS is very proud of its classroom facilities. All of our
classrooms are air-conditioned, bright and spacious, and
very comfortable for our students. Classrooms of Grade 1 to
Grade 3 have a computer work-station for the teacher, as
well as the latest modern facilities for teaching. Have a look

Computer Lab
The IBS computer lab for has 21 Windows XP Networked
workstations. Each of these workstations is identically
equipped with and various age-appropriate educational
software packages. All workstations are supported by
central file servers allowing students and teachers to logon
from any workstation on campus and also have access from
any internet browser worldwide. |

Science Lab
Our science labs are modern, spacious and well-equipped. Primary and secondary students study Science classes
in these labs with a specialist Science teacher.
School Library
The main objective of IBS Library is to provide a wide range of material at varying levels of reading ability, with
diversity of appeal and presentation of different points of view, to meet the needs of the students and teachers.
Information literacy skills are an integral part of the library program. Students learn how to access information in the
library and on the Internet, and also how to evaluate the usefulness and credibility of the information. A member of
the library staff is present whenever the library is open so that students receive assistance upon request.z
Interskills Room
At Kindergarten, we have a special room called 'Interskills Room' which has separate areas for Art, Science,
Reading and Toys. Students love to be their and learn several things through personal exploration.
Boarding School
Our boarding school accommodates students mainly in double rooms . It comprises two separate sections for boys
and girls respectively. It is managed by well-trained staff and supported by relief staff. Residence staffs have weekly
meetings to plan and coordinate boarding school matters.
Swimming Pool
The new IBS Learn-to-Swim classes provide instruction to help students develop their swimming and water safety
skills. It is designed to give students a positive learning experience.
Learn-to-Swim teaches safety skills in a logical progression. The objective is to teach people to swim and to be
safe in, on and around the water.
Skills are categorized in the following way:
• Water Entry and Exit
• Breath Control and Underwater Swimming
• Buoyancy
• Changing Direction and Position
• Treading
• Swimming on Front, Back and Side
• General and Personal Water Safety
• Helping Others
Gymnasium
We are very proud of our gymnasium. It is equipped with modern basketball facilities, bleachers for observing games
and practices, an amazing array of gymnastics and sports equipment. It is used by all grade levels for physical
education classes, after school activities, and sports programmes.
Transportation
IBS offers optional transportation service to all students. Our school buses are equipped with radio transmitters
which are monitored by our control center at the school. They are air conditioned, and provide smooth, efficient
and safe service to all of our students. When young children are riding the bus, a monitor also rides with them to
ensure their safety while getting on and off, and riding the bus.
Parents, who want bus transportation for their child/children, should fill out the IBS Bus Form in order to reserve
a seat on the school bus. Total annual bus fees are paid with the first installment of school fees, before the school
year begins. Bus fees increase according to the distance from the school.
Safety / Clinic
Should any sickness or minor injury occur during school hours, your child will be well taken care of by our well-trained
staff. The school runs small quarters equipped with modern first aid facilities, as well as 2 beds for children to rest if
necessary.
Food Service / School Canteen
IBS provides lunch and snacks to all its students. We also provide cafeteria services, including sandwiches, candy,
ice-cream and refreshments. KG students are allowed to have lunch in the classroom, under the teacher's
supervision. The Primary and secondary students eat their lunch in the dining hall. Older students starting Primary
1 have made their own purchases by themselves from the school canteen.
Sports and Physical Education
Sports and Physical education is one of our main concerns, IBS is highly equipped to allow our students to
experience and practice different games. There is one period per week of 50 minutes duration for Health, PE
and Sport.The students participate in variety of activities like Aerobics, Games, both Thai and International Exercise.
Oral lessons are also given for maintaining good health and physical fitness Apart from the regular PE classes, we
also have one Sport club for the duration of 45 minutes per week, where students participate in various sporting
activities. The school provides facilities for various games like Basketball. Table Tennis, football, Badminton etc.
Creative Art Room
We firmly believe that students flourish more when given the chance to appreciate creative arts. We encourage
students to discover enjoyment in Fine Arts, Music and Drama which are taught as independent subjects as well as
integrated with others like English, Science and Math.
The aim of art activities are to simulate, encourage and develop:
1. An interest in and a critical awareness of environments and cultures
2. An ability to identify and solve problems in visual tactile form
3. Confidence enthusiasm and sense of achievement in the practice of art
4. The Technical Competence and manipulative skills necessary to form, compose and communicate in two and
three dimensions
5. An ability to record from direct observation and personal experience
6. Knowledge of a working vocabulary relevant to the subject
7. Experimentation and innovation through the inventive use of materials and techniques
